My career has spanned 3 decades in urban, regional & statewide planning with a transportation planning focus. I was the first planning director at the Texas Turnpike Authority during the transition to the Texas Department of Transportation. I have worked in the field collecting data, in the private sector collecting and analyzing data and in the executive suite working with public and private stakeholders including elected and appointed officials. Upon returning to my hometown in northeast Texas to help with my mother in her final years, I was appointed as the Executive Director of the Linden Economic Development Corporation. I have worked with local leaders to revitalize & modernize the organization; and, I am ready to return to Houston. My goal is to use my thirty-plus years of experience to help other organizations to be robust and self-renewing.
