Management/ Supervisory * Supervised shifts of 20 food safety technicians, sanitation and production cleaning employees at a poultry processing facility that employs approximately 1000 people throughout the south Georgia area, averaging 750 million dollars in revenue a year. Was also responsible for training all positions of the department. * Acted as communications liaison, handling all correspondence and necessary documentation between the USDA and facility employees. * Supervised all Food safety Technicians to insure protocol was being followed according to company standards. * Trained all supervisors to insure production was being performed according to the Company H.A.C.C.P. Plan Quality Assurance * Performed audits of processing facilities to assure they were in compliance with USDA and other government entities. Audits consisted of Pre-operational inspections for cleanliness of the machines to insure USDA compliance, verifying there were no chemical, mechanical, or biological hazards. * Revised H.A.C.C.P, SSOP, and MSDS policies and procedures to keep them up to date with government guidelines. * Verified all chemicals purchased from outside entities and entering plant were manufactured, labeled and produced to MSDS regulations. * Logged all audits and findings for USDA inspections.
