SUMMARY: I am a recent graduate from Morehouse School of Medicine with a master's in public health. I graduated from Spelman College with a degree in Biology. In addition, I also graduated from Covenant C.N.A. School Patient Care Technician Program that included Certified Nursing Assistant Classroom Instruction, Practical Training, and External Clinical Practice, in a long term acute care facility. Phlebotomy training includes over 150 venipunctures 50 capillary sticks and numerous electrocardiogram (ECG) readings. In addition, learned theory and practical training in obtaining adequate ECG and successful blood specimens by capillary and/or venipuncture samples from volunteers, while observing safety precautions as mandated by the clinical laboratory improvement amendments and Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
