Description
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY EDUCATIONAL MARKETING SALES AND TRAINING Contract role as a VP of Marketing and sales professional, selling products and services to school systems (with the presentations usually made to Transition Coordinators, Special Education Directors and in some cases, School Board Superintendants, across the nation.) These products and services were designed to help special needs children become more ready to transition from a school setting to living in the real world, including daily living skills, as well as employability skills. As part of this, I was very involved in the enhancement of marketing plans and training regiments to be used to perform in-service training for the teachers who would ultimately be working with these children. I also personally sold, installed, and implemented a large volume of these tangible and intangible products and services. These services and products are very important to help the school systems meet federal and state mandates. These installations ranged from a low price of roughly 15 thousand to large installations on multiple campuses of 250 thousand dollars or more. Selling a service that is suggesting an entity can do something in a better way, is always an uphill climb and I feel this experience truly puts me in a position to present many different types of products and services to a large variety of entities. PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY COMPUTERS AND ELECTRONICS IT professional with more than 25 years of experience, who knows the technical services business from the ground up. Demonstrated success in planning and directing projects and operations for a diverse range of businesses from small real estate firms to medical offices to large utility companies and hospital systems. Technically oriented to state-of-the-art computers and information systems. Qualified in service-oriented businesses including management and consulting.
