Includes evaluation of new and existing customer's financial status and credit worthiness. Coordinates with Customer's financial contacts and/or financial institutions to establish and maintain proper payments mechanisms to minimize NAO's credit risk, which may include obtaining letters of credit or other financing facilities. Is responsible for coordination with Global business/marketing management and supply chain to prevent future shipments if credit risk be deemed unworthy. Is expected to keep informed on industry standards and practices. * Coordinates and administers the NAO accrual and payment program for customer rebates as assigned while working closely with Marketing Managers and Business Analysts. * Provides back-up credit support for other members of the NAO Treasury & Credit staff. responsible for managing the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Accounting/Finance, Operations, & HR Departments. The Controller also carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. This position helps the company to maximize its return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
