I am a medical editor with 18 years of experience in all aspects of production, including proofreading, copyediting, author liaison, overseeing the work of other freelancers, and maintaining publication deadlines. After receiving my Master’s Degree in English Literature, I have worked from my home office for the last 10 years, creating my own positions at several companies. At Lippincott, Williams & Wilkins I used the relationship that I had built with Dr. David Stoller as an in-house editor to be a production editor working exclusively on his books Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine and Stoller's Atlas of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. As a freelance contract editor for Elsevier my adherence to strict deadlines and style guidelines earned me the responsibility to establish the style for the MEDSURG questions that I was editing.
