SUMMARY I am an aggressive self-starter with a can do attitude. I have 20+ years of management experience. I offer extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing, team leadership and conflict resolution skills. I have experience in advanced methods of manufacturing production to include: welding, e-kote, paint, powder coating, assembly, inventory control, packaging, continuous improvement and logistics. My wiliness to get the job done right the first time along with my concern for safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale enables me to form a cohesive team that is ready to perform for all challenges. AREAS OF EXPERTISE Team Leadership and Management Straight Up Southern: I coach and lead three Supervisors in apparel production, shipping and receiving. I have implemented many Lean tools for continuous improvement. One large undertaking is the tier meeting system that brings awareness and visibility to the Big 5, Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Morale and encourages interactions up and down the chain. Terex Rock Hill: I took over a production line that was under achieving in production and quality. I coached my team to increased production by 400% from 2 units to 8 units a day in 2 months. We Increased quality first pass yield by 30%. Allied Air Systems: I coached a team on a very robust line that produced cooling units for multiple customers. We successfully started up a new shift with temporary employees and reached targeted production standards two weeks ahead of schedule while maintaining a safety score of 98% and a quality score of 92%. A.O. Smith: I coached my team members to come up with ideas that decreased cycle time in packaging area by 5 second though line balancing work loads and no additional manpower resulting in 10 to 20% increase in production per hour. Thermoform Plastics: I coached 6 employees on 3 shifts in shipping and receiving. I managed product flow and inventory from production to warehouse and to the customer while maintaining a favorable rapport with multiple agencies. Freightliner TMP: I coached a team of 70+ employees and 6 group leads in 4 departments. I managed all aspects of production and assembly resulting in a 10% increase in production in three months.
