Intern 1/2014 - 12/2014 UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center Birmingham, AL Community Outreach/Research * Develop continuing education skill building monthly activities for Community Health Advisors trained as Research Partners (CHARPs) * Co-facilitate CHA meeting for Jefferson County * Assist with program planning the DSN 2014 Institute for the Black Belt and Delta to conduct clinical assessments for participants in the Journey to Better Health Weight Loss Program * Conduct 24 hour dietary intake recalls on research participants in a community setting
