Customer Manage all Warehouse Operations for PepsiCo Worldwide Flavors Puerto Rico (2nd largest PepsiCo Concentrate manufacturing operation worldwide), including operations in Cidra, Cataņo and Ponce. Duties include defining and executing operational strategy for receiving, warehousing and distribution for $40 million inventory and $3.4 billion annual shipments. Manage Manufacturing Operation in PepsiCo Worldwide Flavors Puerto Rico, producing 1,300 SKU and over 99% order fulfillment index. Key player in Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for significantly complex orange juice supply risk, which could have resulted in a supply shortage of billion dollar brand Mountain Dew to the US. As a result of the effective supply chain coordination with 3 other PepsiCo Worldwide Flavors facilities and the Tropicana business, the risk was effectively mitigated, and the project was awarded the 2014 PepsiCo Chairman Award. Service and support International Markets Customer Service Being the first person in the role worldwide developed all demand planning processes for the Demand Planner role including statistical modelling guidelines demand forecasting methodology for raw materials and finished goods and line balancing as well as the master demand plans for over 30 countries. As a result of the success of the processes developed was appointed to be part of a 3-person committee to develop the Demand Planning organization worldwide. Led implementation and deployment of SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) system to support demand planning warehousing customer service documentation and finance in all of PepsiCo Worldwide Flavor's Puerto Rico manufacturing operation. at improving order fulfillment performance. Initiative included the definition of service level agreement with other areas of the plant, definition of key performance indicators, internal process mapping and optimization, as well bi-lateral agreement with supplied bottlers in over 15 markets. * Led the implementation of the SAP Warehouse Activity Monitoring module which enabled a warehouse location accuracy improvement from 53% to 98% and an annual overtime cost reduction of $500K. Supervised the finished goods shipping of PepsiCo Worldwide Flavors' Puerto Rico operation to over 15 markets handling approximately $11 million in finished goods weekly and ensuring compliance with all the applicable laws and regulations in the markets serviced. Supervised 10 full time employees including warehouse shipping and logistics associates. * Defined and led the Shipping Transformation Strategy which resulted in optimal trailer capacity utilization loading accuracy of over 99% and optimization of refrigerated trailer packing materials utilization. As a result of the more than $500K savings generated by this initiative was awarded the 2012 Productivity Award given annually by the division's CFO to the most outstanding productivity performance. Led Warehouse Department in the successful attainment of C-TPAT Certification (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) reducing border delay times and gaining priority shipments reducing transit times to the US by 30%. Manage and control the continuous movement of $40 million finished goods and raw material inventory and perform cycle counts and required adjustments to ensure inventory accuracy at all times. * Led the definition of the Inventory and Control Guidelines which enabled full compliance with PepsiCo's Global Control Standard at all times. As a result of the established guidelines and their implementation achieved the highest rating in the internal control audit which had never been achieved before.
