Description
PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY Experienced software and database developer, programming in C# in Microsoft .NET continuously since 2001 starting with beta versions of Visual Studio and the .NET development platform. Experienced in object oriented program design and development and multi-tier distributed systems. Experienced in web development technologies using ASP.NET MVC and Web API HTTP services, DI, Json.NET, SQL Server, MongoDB and Bootstrap, jQuery and jQWidgets JavaScript UI framework. Experienced in writing Microsoft D/COM servers using Microsoft Active Template (ATL) C++ library and creating distributed application servers. Bioinformatics Development Lead Genomind King of Prussia PA 12-02-2016 to 3-15-2017 I developed a MongoDB database for Genomind bioinformatics department by importing Genecept Assay patient test data from the Laboratory Information System SQL database. The data will be used to analyze genetic test results. I developed an ETL application for extracting data using a BCP process and transforming and validating CSV data. I developed a MongoDB .NET library using the MongoDB .NET driver which is used by the ETL process in support of CRUD operations for periodic synchronization of the MongoDB database with the Laboratory Information System. I developed an application to extract transform and validate patient surveys data in CSV format and populate MongoDB surveys collection which is linked by an arbitrary key to the main patient document collection. The surveys store supports multiple survey types with varied number of questions and answers question types and data types and in addition to serving as surveys store it is also intended to serve as survey template for building survey websites. I developed a Countries MongoDB collection containing countries state/province region (EU) to validate the patient database geographic data to ensure geographic data analysis accuracy. I imported the data from a MIT licensed JSON file which originated on Github. I developed a Clinicians MongoDB collection by importing data from the Lab Information System (SQL DB). I developed additional reference collections from government resources such as drugs and ICD codes.
