I am most interested in 6-18 month temporary project work to utilize my analytic, IT/internal/performance audit, and overall business operations skills to add value to the employer in the operational areas of risk management, process improvement, regulatory compliance, and external audit preparation. I am currently also considering full time opportunities with possible relocation. As an Information Systems Computer Audit Specialist (CAS), Auditor in Charge (AIC), and assist auditor, I was accountable for the completeness and timeliness of all requested technical assistance aspects of internal and external audits and investigations of varying size and complexity. I have 15 years experience and training in extract, transform, load (ETL) processes utilized to obtain and analyze data from sources that require a higher level of expertise in complex and sophisticated computer information systems. I used personal computers (i.e. laptops, desktops), mainframe computers (i.e. MVS, UNIX), relational database query languages (i.e. SQL), web servers (i.e.Cytrix), and external entity systems (i.e. AS/400) to obtain data. I then determined which 'computer assisted audit tools' (CAATs) methodology was most efficient and effective to analyze the data and provide to the requestors. I also promoted agency-wide use of CAATs by providing various training and informational presentations to senior staff, auditors, and investigators. Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) (Non-practicing), ACL Certified Data Analyst (ACDA).
