QUALIFICATIONS Extensive managerial experience directing a series of complex, geographically dispersed operations and a staffing infrastructure the size of some Fortune 500 companies. Thorough knowledge of a myriad of data products covering Census Population and Housing, Economic and Government Censuses, Demographic Surveys and Foreign Trade. Comprehensive experience at representing the agency at the highest levels, negotiating partnership arrangements with Mayors, Governors and Congressional Members, as well as, successfully marketing the importance of the agency's program initiatives to local grass roots community to participate and support the agency's endeavors to their constituencies. Also acted as the agency's official spokesperson to the media. Broad-based experience and direct line authority in representing the agency in government contract negotiations involving procurement and real property purchasing, office space construction & build-outs and lease management. Also possess extensive experience with representing the agency in resolving EEO suits, Fair Labor Standard Act claims and being the agency's Custodial of Record for court cases. Extensive supervisory and managerial experience over multi-state operations with a workforce of 86,000, large number of geographically dispersed offices and a budget of $275 million.
