I enjoy designing and implementing extremely complex technical solutions across heterogeneous data center networks, storage infrastructures, and virtualization platforms involving many OEM/ISVs including EMC, Cisco, HP, IBM, NetApp, Brocade, VMware, Solaris. * Responsible for the Cloud technical strategy, architecture and design for a highly complex migration project for my client. * Develop and management of IT Storage infrastructure roadmap for many Fortune 500's clients. * Migration of complete IT infrastructure to a hybrid cloud environment, more than 800 Servers. * Performing POC/Pilot projects evaluating different Cloud based storage solutions including AWS, Nutanix, ScaleIO, Simplivity. Good technical understanding of all the latest Storage appliance and technology in market. * EMC certified professional with vast experience in experience in Data Center Storage technologies (SAN/NAS) Management, Disaster Recovery Implementation, and Network and System Administration. * Excellent experience in administration, configuration and troubleshooting of high end disk storage systems such as Symmetrix VMAX/DMX, EMC VPLEX, ISILON, XtrmeIO, Recover Point, VNX and CLARiiON in mission critical production environment. * Evaluating and performing technical study on new storage technology trends. * Performed many Presales activities like conducting POC for EMC product AVAMAR Storage. * Installation and Configuration of new Storage Systems and Environments. * Expertise in working with VPLEX CLI/GUI, Unisphere Manager, Navisphere Manager, Connectrix Manager, Fabric Manager, SYMCLI, ECC and Symmetrix Management Console (SMC) * Fully designed and implemented Disaster Recovery Backup at BSNL Chandigarh Site. * Hands on experience in administering VNX Unified. * Hands on experience with Thin provisioning and FAST VP implementation and administration. * Real time working experience in configuring and maintaining switches including McData, Brocade and Cisco MDS. * Experienced on working with Cisco Fabric Manager and Cisco Device Manager. Performing regular tasks included using Fabric Manager to create/delete zones and zone members from active zone set, create device-alias to logged-in WWNs as per the CISCO standards. * Good understanding of Recover Point operations and management. * Proficient in EMC block/File storage systems (VMAX, VMAX3, DMX, VNX, Clariion, Celerra, VPLEX, ISILON, RPA, XtremeIO ) and EMC software such as Unisphere, Symcli, NavisphereManager, Connectrix Manager, SPA. * Experience in planning, designing and implementing SAN on open systems for High Availability and Disaster Recovery. * Reporting Activities to accurately monitor the customer's environment and resolve performance issues and bottle necks using custom created reports either via native reporting tools within the storage environment * System administration skills on UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems * Experience in interacting with users, analyzing client business processes, documenting business requirements, performing design analysis and developing design specifications. * Great experience inplanning and implementing Storage Area Network using open systems. * Involved in planning for Disaster Recovery and High availability of SAN and Network Attached Storage. * Experience in using and implementing Business Continuity Solutions * PowerPath installation and configuration experience on both UNIX and Windows servers for load balancing and path failover. * Experience with various ticketing systems is also preferred (Service Center, Remedy etc.)
