My role as Project Management Practitioner in Construction Contracting & Real Estate sectors gave me a wide experience dealing with related issues starting from pre-construction stage through project planning execution monitoring & controlling till project closing. These experiences add value to my technical & personal skills such as communication negotiation personal & management skills in addition to decision making abilities. AREAS OF EXPERTISE Construction Project Management: * Establish the project management plan and required staffing for each phase of project. * Plans and directs activities to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished. * Monitor and control all project plans. * Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required. * Review subcontractor/vendor performance and maintain on-track project progress. * Manage all purchase and delivery schedules, change order processes, shop drawings and document control logs. * Prepare project reports for executives, client, or others. Contracting: * Review and assessment of tender and budget proposal opportunities. * Participate in project cost analysis to support improvements in estimating and control. * Prepare and update required tender and project schedule. * Coordinate liaison between department managers (Planning / Procurement / Human Resources) to support the tender process. * Manage the selection process and contract negotiations for contractors and vendors. * Encourage any technical developments or suggestions that will enhance the tender proposal. Business Development: * Actively search for project opportunities as part of the desired organizational growth. * Communicate with and develop targeted customers, design professionals and partner companies. * Manage participation and attendance at technical seminars, conferences and industry events. * Develop and Coach the preparation of Requests for Proposals, Request for Qualifications and other requests to engage clients and lead interview preparation. * Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders, associations and organizations in regional or vertical market. * Promote the use of new technologies and techniques that improve the design and construction process.
