I currently hold several positions in multiple careers. In my first career I'm a Corrections Officer for the Monroe County Sheriff Department. I am responsible for safety and security of inmates as well as fellow officers on the team. I maintain OSHA and MIOSHA compliance along with developing instructional training and maintaining of departmental and county wide law enforcement personnel in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (C.P.R.) both BLS and ALS and First Aid. I also train county personnel in PPCT along with Defensive Tactics. In my second career I'm an owner of a Security and Safety consultant working with many companies like DTE energy Sunoco Logistics and FRG Corp. As a training consultant I develop and implement corporate safety trainings from team building development Technical Based Training BLS Emergency Medical Response First Aid OSHA 8 hour Electrical Safety Battery Safety Fire Extinguisher SCBA Power Hand Tools and Lockout Tag Out. I'm currently assigned to Delta College Corporate Services Training Department as an instructor for the Fast Start Program. In my prior career roles I was a District Manager for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and a Program Manager for Fenkell Automotive and their lead auditor for ISO-9002. I'm experienced in direct and indirect sales budgeting technical training risk management assessment audits audit reviews and troubleshooting procedures. As the owner of Rio Electronics I ensure that all state and federal rules are met and advise my clients in areas of security and safety.
