I am a mechanical engineer experienced with product development and industrial design of products using SolidWorks, creation of 2D drawings with and without BOMs and consultation on best DFM and DFA methods for existing and new products. In addition have been liaison between vendors to assure parts and sub-assemblies are compliant to project requirements. * Have 20 years of mechanical design experience. * Hard working, dependable and reliable. * Master using SolidWorks, well over 20,000 hours, to create parts, assemblies and drawings meeting ASME Y14.5 2009 GD&T standards. * Experienced with Design for Cost (DFC) and Design for Manufacture (DFM) methods. * Innovative. Seek push the envelope and do what has not been done before and generate IP for the company. * Knowledgeable about environmental standards MIL-STD-810 and IEC Standard 60529 (Ingress Protection), and writing test procedures, hands-on conducting of tests and writing test reports for the afore mentioned standards.
