Accomplishments * Managed all aspects of a company region including development of marketing plans, recruitment, hiring and training of staff, budgeting, P&L, scheduling work and activities, establishing policies and procedures, procurement of equipment and supplies, client services, performance evaluations and motivation of employees. * Turned around an underperforming division of the Ford Motor Company. Reviewed daily workflow and partnered with departmental managers to identify areas in need of improvement in productivity, distribution and loss prevention. Established new policies and incentives while rolling out a new logistics program that reduced fuel costs and delivery times. Increased profitability in excess of $400K. * Increased sales revenue for a company branch $1.8M by restructuring the sales function. Identified end users, and hired sales personnel with synergies in these markets. Renegotiated with vendors to ascertain who had the capability of fulfilling large orders in a timely, cost efficient manner. Count accuracy and count time improved significantly. * Reduced operating costs by partnering with the insurance company and IT to develop a "self billing" insurance program that only insured vehicles while in rent status. Succeeded in reducing insurance costs thousands per year. * Merged a recently acquired company into the product mix and operations. Analyzed utilization by product line, condition of inventory, yard layout and delivery fleet.
