SUMMARY: * 9+ years experience in Data warehousing and Business intelligence with emphasis on Business Requirements Analysis, Application Design, and Development, testing, implementation and maintenance of Data Warehouse and Data Mart systems in the Finance, Insurance, Networking and Manufacturing * Proven experience at building, motivating and working under professional teams and supporting client relationships * Experienced in implementing large-scale applications with leading technologies in Business Intelligence and involved in complete software development life cycle (SDLC) * Handling complete range of BI capabilities: reporting, analysis, score carding, dashboards and business event management * Very Good experience on Cognos Tools - Cognos 10 Suite (Framework Manager, Cognos Cube Designer, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Workspace Advanced, Event Studio and Cognos Connection), Cognos 8.4 (framework Manager, Report Studio, Metric Studio, Power Play Studio and Query Studio), Cognos Reportnet 1.1 Mr3, Cognos EP Series 7.3 (Impromptu, IWR, Power Play Transformer and Power Play Windows/Web, upfront) * Experience in reports migration from Cognos impromptu 7.3, Cognos 8 and Business Objects to Cognos 10.2.1 * Hands on Experience with Framework Manager Modeling (Physical Layer, Business Layer, Packages) and Complex Report building with Report Studio * Sound Skills in Report Development, Modeling (Relational, DMR) in Cognos 8. * Sound Skills on Developing Score Card Applications using Metric Manger and Metric Studio * Worked on Dash Board Report building using Report Studio * Experience and expertise in understanding existing business processes, data analysis requirements, business systems analysis and design, converting requirements specifications into functional specifications * Good understanding of ETL tools like Data Stage on of Cognos reports, cubes, and decision support applications using Cognos series 8 business intelligence tools. * Experience in Troubleshooting Cognos problems and tunes for performance * Extensive experience in Multiple Relational Databases including SQL SERVER and ORACLE * Experience with Oracle PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors and Triggers * Experience in Administering the Servers - Installation, configuration, roles, Privileges and Performance Tuning of the Servers * Expertise in OLTP/OLAP/OOAD System Study, Analysis and E-R modeling, developing Database Schemas like Star Schema and Snowflake Schema used in relational, dimensional and multidimensional modeling * Excellent Presentation and communication skills, Team Player, Quick learner, Organized and self-motivated.
