Career Summary I have been with Anthem over ten years. During this time I have received a 4 rating 5 times, three Values-In Actions awards, and I was nominated for a Living the Values award. I started with the company as a Sr. Financial Analyst supporting the Chief Strategy Officer. Since then I have been promoted twice, first to Financial Analyst Ld. And now I am a Financial Consultant Sr. I have supported many admin areas including: Information Technology, Legal and Compliance, Product Management, Provider Cost Containment, and Enterprise Execution. I also worked on the Cost & Budget team for two years where I was responsible for the budget transfer process, and I was a vital member of the team for audit and allocation work. I also helped generate reports for the ELT and Board of Directors for Plan and Forecast meetings. I have taken several leadership and management development classes such as Transition to Management, Working on Virtual Teams, and Candor and Constructive Confrontation. I started my professional career with Renal Care Group where I led many process improvement initiatives, and completed NPV analysis on benefits of new equipment and opening new facilities. I worked with managers to reduce the cost per treatment (CPT) and hours per treatment (HPT), and during my time, we standardized the supplies used by the facilities which helped the facilities achieve a standard CPT.
