Professional summary Ms. Sutton is a GIS Analyst with 3 years of professional experience who is looking to expand her career and capabilities. Her experience includes the use of advanced spatial analysis, data management, 3D modelling and mapping and the use of GPS devices. She has extensive experience using ESRI software such as: ArcMap, ArcGlobe, ArcScene, and ArcGIS online. Ms. Sutton is currently working on several projects. These projects range from the DFIRM/FIS development and risk assessment with FEMA's Flood Risk mapping program, Hazard and Flood Mitigation Plans along the east coast, and various projects for a confidential energy client throughout the Carolinas and Midwest. Ms. Sutton is currently managing all GIS work within her office while supporting several satellite offices. She is also working to expand office knowledge of GIS and enhance spatial capabilities. This for ash basins at a North Carolina-based Nuclear Station. This is being accomplished by characterizing site conditions and providing engineering analyses and evaluations that validate the preferred closure option, after other options have been explored. Amec Foster Wheeler's scope of services includes geotechnical, environmental and construction & post-closure services The GIS Aspect of this large scale project is to help determine location, model factors like settlement and storm water drainage as well as present results to the client and the public. project consists of the study and restudy of rivers and coastal areas in 19 North Carolina Counties. The project is designed to follow the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) guidelines on Flood Risk Analysis and Mapping and to maintain the most current and accurate data on North Carolina's Riverine and Coastal floodplains. From this project effective Flood Insurance Studies (FIS) can be complied for all areas of North Carolina that are at risk from flooding. (2014-2015)
