PROFILE * Competent, diligent, and result oriented professional offering 15 years of experience. * Rich experience providing Process and Project Design for processes such as FCC Vapor Recovery Unit, Hydrotreater (Diesel, UOP Kerosene and FCC Feed), Amine Regeneration Unit, UOP Detergent Complex, UOP Propane Dehydrogenation unit, UOP Benzene-Toluene Fractionation Unit, UOP Propylene Recovery Unit, & CDU, UOP CCR Platforming Process Unit. * Strong background in providing process evaluations, process optimization, revamp feasibility and scoping studies, troubleshooting & de-bottlenecking of existing units and developing preliminary equipment and utility designs. * Evaluating new process configurations to determine if configurations should move to next stage of development. Performing techno-economic analysis on new processes. * Expert in working with a variety of process simulation software packages including: HYSYS, UNISIM, PRO-II, Aspen, and UOP Process Simulator P9.8, Aspen ICARUS (CAPEX and OPEX estimating software). * Distillation Expertise: Experience includes FCCU Main Fractionator with side strippers, Debutanizer, C3/C4 Splitter, Deethanizer, Propane Propylene Splitter, Benzene Column, Recycle Paraffin Stripper, Paraffin Column, LAB Column (vacuum operation), Finishing Column (vacuum operation), Primary & Secondary Absorber, Quench Towers in Chemical Plant, Product Strippers, Stripper and Rerun columns in Prefractionation unit. Grass root design: Perform optimization of distillation columns for operating pressure, number of stages, and feed location. Determine optimum location to achieve best temperature control. Perform detailed hydraulic calculations for tray and packed columns, select & design column internals appropriate for the service. Prepare distillation column process datasheet and drawing sheet. Revamp Design: Debottleneck & troubleshoot existing fractionator/s for capacity increase. Determine column efficiency using plant data. Perform rating calculations using existing internals for new capacity. Where appropriate recommend solutions e.g: re-traying, new operating parameters etc. * Other expertise includes: Preparing Front End Engineering Design (FEED) Packages that includes Developing PFDs (Process Flow Diagram), MSDs (Material Selection Diagram) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram), Thermal design and Rating of Heat exchangers, Design and Rating of equipments (Vessels, Pumps, and Compressors), hydraulic loop checking, Preparation of specifications for Packaged items, Preparation of datasheets for equipments and instruments, Establishing Design conditions (Pressure and Temperature), and Preparation of Heat and Mass Balances. * Permanent Resident of USA (Holds Green Card).
