Qualifications AFGE/NVAC National Safety and Health Representative 08/2011 - present * Assist in identifying safety hazard during Annual Workplace Evaluation (AWE) * Attends and assist with OSHA inspections with minimal complaints and successful results * Participate in safety committees and safety inspections for Veterans Administration Medical Center and National levels * Coordinate and instructs safety and health training nationally * Interpret OSHA regulations for employees and participate in OSHA inspections Material Handler 01/2011 - Present * Process electronic receiving reports accurately * Note all damages, shortages, or wrong shipments on the packing slip, freight bill and/or delivery ticket Warehouse Laborer 01/2010 - 01/2011 * Deliver items to appropriate location without incurring damage to items * Adhere to all safety regulations, policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clutter-free and clean working environment * Report any unsafe conditions to supervisor and appropriate officials Job Related Training * Department of Transportation (DOT) Train the Trainer * Intermediate Safety Training * Basic GEMS * Hazardous Materials (HazMat) * Ebola * Chemical Plume
