SUMMARY * 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator on all versions of Oracle databases starting from 9i, 10g, 11g and 12c on different operating systems like Sun Solaris, Windows IBM AIX, HP-UX and Linux. * Experience in Oracle Flexible Architecture, I/O tuning, Capacity planning, space management, Memory Tuning, SQL Performance Tuning, Backup and Recovery, Optimization, Networking, script development and documentation. * Expertise in identifying and resolving the performance bottlenecks in stand alone and RAC systems. * Hands on experience in installing, configuring and managing Oracle 12c, 11g RAC and 10g RAC on Sun Solaris, Linux and Unix. * Experience in Migration of Oracle databases with the upgrades across different platforms from 10g to 11g and 12c with the help of RMAN, Export/Import Datapump, TTS and GoldenGate. * Hands on experience with Installation, Configuration, Upgrade, Migration, Patching, Management, Administration, Backup and Recovery of Oracle Databases 12c/11g/10g/9i. * Hands on experience in configuring and managing DataGuard 11g and 12c for physical standby, logical standby databases using dataguard broker (DGMGRL). * Experience in managing Tablespaces, Segments, Tables, Indexes, Materialized views, User Privilleges, Roles and Profiles. * Expert in implementing Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers for application implementation and logging. * Experience with Oracle 10g features like Flash Back Recovery, Datapump, ASM, ASH, AWR, ADDM, ASSM, ASMM, Automatic Undo management, Grid Monitoring and Recycle Bin. * Experience in 11g new features like MTTR Advisor (Mean Time to Recovery), "http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/SQLAccessAdvisor10g.php" SQL Access Advisor, "http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/SpaceObjectTransactionManagement10g.php" \l "segment_advisor" Segment Advisor, "http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/10g/SpaceObjectTransactionManagement10g.php" \l "undo_advisor" Undo Advisor, and "http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/DataRecoveryAdvisor_11gR1.php" Data Recovery Advisor (DRA) and RAC SCAN Listener. * Exprerience in 12c new features like Containter Database (CDB), Pluggable Database (PDB), Invisible column creation, online datafiles move, DDL Logging, Restricting PGA size, Datapump new features like disabling logging for import jobs and moving views as tables with underlying data. * Scheduling everyday database jobs and backup jobs using Oracle Job Scheduler, Crontab and Scheduled Tasks (Windows). * Delivering SQL and Database performance tuning services via V$/GV$ views, Explain Plan, TKPROF, AWR, ADDM, SQL Tuning Advisor, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for 11g/10g/9i. * Experience in using SQL*Loader, Oracle native Export/Import and new features Data Pump Export/Import and TTS utilities. * Experience in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control 11g and 12c for performance monitoring and trouble shooting, configuring alerts, repeated blockouts for scheduled maintenance windows. * Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, Data modeling, Logical and Physical database design using SQL Developer and ERWIN. * Experience in testing crash recoveries using conventional cold, hot and RMAN backups. * Expreience in testing application resiliency for RAC and Dataguard environments. * Expertise in RAT testing for major release upgrades across platforms. * Expertise in planning, migrating, and upgrading databases across platforms from one data center to other using TTS, GoldenGate and OVD to achieve minimal application downtime. * Knowledge in ASM Dynamic Volume Manager (ADVM) and ASM Clustered File System (ACFS). * Experience in providing 24/7 Production support to OLTP and OLAP environments on various platforms. * Hands on experience in oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting. * Experience in installation and configuration of vmware and virtual box for LAB Servers on Windows and Linux operating systems. * Ability to work on own initiative and as a part of team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Willingness to learn new technologies, openness to new ideas and ability to learn very quickly.
