Resulting in a 45% growth in sales while reducing inventory by 20% and increasing inventory turns from 1.2 to 2.96. o Executed strategy using enterprise value stream mapping, standard work, and SMED, to increase capacity in support of 40% year over year growth in our space product. 40% sales growth was leveraged to achieve an 85% increase in gross profit while avoiding the need for $500k of capital investment. o Implemented standardized SIOP process and material replenishment strategies utilizing 2 bin Kanban and Min Max at the Taiwan facility, reducing raw inventory levels by $2.9M and increasing inventory turns from 1.6 to 2.46. o Lead $3M sustaining project to redesign entire space product portfolio to meet updated Mil-Prf 38534 guidelines. Worked with product management to support customers to develop alternate shipping options during production stop ship to meet both our customer expectations and our sales forecasts o Transferred product from domestic to international manufacturing facility increasing shipping profit from 41% to 82.5% resulting in $120k additional profit through the first quarter of delivery. o Successfully led DMAIC project to reduce the cycle time for returning warranty systems. Reduced average cycle time from 336 days down to 22 days, resulting in an inventory reduction of $2.5 million. o Developed and executing plan to relocate international manufacturing site due to lease expiration. Determined site requirements for size, location, internal dimension and loading for a clean room environment. Evaluated multiple sites, down selecting based on location, requirements, cost and risk. Developed and executed product validation in preparation for requalification. Established new site qualification plan with pre approval from DLA.
