Summary of Work Duties: * Served as campus official/liaison with the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), which is the accrediting body that evaluates academic programs. * Principle Coordinator in preparations made prior to on-site evaluation visits from ACICS and NYSED. * Responsible for preparing detailed and professional responses necessary for correcting areas of noncompliance as outlined in the team reports, after on-site evaluation visits. * Monitored/coordinated academic concerns such as program revisions, curriculum development and the upholding of prerequisite and co-requisite requirements. * Identified potential areas which were out of compliance, and submitted reports and made proposals for correcting the delinquencies. * Wrote the Campus Effectiveness Plan (CEP) for the improvement of the educational, administrative and student learning outcomes effectiveness. Help coordinate other such required reports including Campus Self- Study, Campus Safety & Security Report and Campus Annual Report (CAR). * Chaired and participated on several committees to ensured policy and compliance were being met. * Supervised a team of Academic Advisors concerning students maintaining satisfactory academic progress while maintaining personal case load. * Directed and coordinated academic concerns and developments as Dean through meetings with department Chairpersons. * Worked directly with the President of the College on all academic and administrative/school matters. * Taught classes in ESL, English, Business and Psychology.
