212 responsible for direct patient care of children and adolescents ages 3-18 suffering from emotional, behavioral, and/or psychological illnesses. Duties included completing full nursing admission assessments and weekly nursing assessments and care plan development, passing medications, conducting psycho-educational groups, continuous monitoring of residents' locations, nursing assessment and care of residents with acute illnesses or injuries, preparing residents for outside appointments with providers as well as screening and referral of residents to in-house nurse practitioner as needed. Other responsibilities included role modeling, teaching, and rewarding appropriate behaviors. Additionally responsible for a minimum of daily processing of achievement of objectives and goals with each resident (10) on my unit and as requested by residents from other units. Also facilitated monthly multidisciplinary treatment team meetings for all 60 residents in the RTC. Usual length of stay for residents was 1 year and discharge planning started on day of admission and was re-evaluated at least monthly during the treatment team meetings. - 3614 Responsible for the direct patient care of critically ill neonates admitted to the 45-bed Baptist Health System Baptist Health System School of Health Professions Duties and Responsibilities included: * Direct patient care of critically ill neonates admitted to the 22-bed Level-III nursery. * Clinical instruction of students in the areas of Maternal-Child Health Fundamentals of Nursing Practice Management and Behavioral/Mental Health Nursing. * Participated classroom instruction counseling of students and program development. * NICU staff education coordinator. Dedicated preceptor of nurses new to the NICU.
