QUALIFICATIONS Extensive experience with presentations to all levels of business from end users in groups of ~ 150 to individual presentations to CFO and CIO for project approval. Managed up to 5 projects concurrently as Continuous Improvement efforts. Advanced skill with Excel & Open Office Calc utilizing macros and creating more complex spreadsheets to analyze large data sets. Assisted in testing and implementation of new technology systems to enhance engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Created end user documentation for new systems using FrameMaker for hard copy manuals and several video capture solutions for online training documentation. Managed 200+ Unix and Wintel servers in 3 data centers and ~7000 PC's in locations worldwide. Wrote RFP's for capital purchases of items to ensure timely maintenance and improvement of data center facilities in Wichita. Created customized hardware catalog to streamline ordering of PC equipment and increase ease of support by technicians. Final criteria was a print device with ~75 feet of all persons needing print capability. * Led project directly with Kyocera Corporation and New Paradigm Imaging to initiate a Managed Print Services contract to cut print costs and improve customer satisfaction. Potential savings was ~$1M over 5 year lease versus current deployment method. * Led project to migrate 7000+ users, PC's and servers from Cessna Active Directory domain to another single domain for all of Textron. * Assisted project team to implement Microsoft Storesimple solution to replace several SAN storage servers. Project resulted in ~$600K savings per year and will allow for quick increase of storage needs as well as disaster recovery. Created Service Level Agreement for use by members of the Support Center to ensure a high level of customer service & satisfaction. * Piloted & implemented a project in Information Systems that began co-location of support personnel to better handle customer response, resulting in a 28% decrease in the amount of time it took to solve customer problems. Created and maintained a web page devoted to answering questions and concerns from the CCD user community at Cessna. This provided a first level support avenue to potentially allow customers to solve their issues without having to call the Helpline. Created & maintained MS Access database of all software used at Cessna to ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
