Key Accomplishments: * Supervise approximately 40 drivers out of 2 different geographic locations. * Dispatch bulk and side load trucks to ensure routes are delivered proficiently. * Maintain current master file information for customers, drivers, SKUs, products, and delivery equipment. * Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations and Maintenance to achieve maximum efficiencies and determine best practices with special orders/requests. * Ensure delivery routes are DOT regulation compliant. * Provide maximum customer service by going through routes and manually adjusting customer sequencing based on local traffic and individual customer delivery time (time window) availability, saving company approximately $100,000 per year per location. * Using SAP system, provide reports to multiple branches showing daily schedule. * Ensure all data is collated correctly including booking on and off procedures, delivery confirmation, start/finish times, in/out times, trailer number, resource allocation, non-conformance issues, breaks, etc. * Improve KPI targets of number of stops per driver per day and cases delivered per hour by increasing number of stops by 1+ and cases delivered per hour by more than 6%. recognized for delivering most next-day service lanes in its territory with one of lowest claim ratios in industry.
