Thank you for the opportunity to apply for this position. From my resume, you’ll see that I have extensive resource and project management experience. For the past six years, I’ve been working with teams developing applications for our financial business partners. Prior to that, I led projects in the Infrastructure area. In my roles with this company, I ensured my teams’ projects were properly staffed and met the needs of our business partners, both in terms of delivery date and functional necessity. I also worked closely with our vendor partners to ensure their readiness and help remove roadblocks for them. The result was that two of the teams I led were named “Team of the Year”. Additionally, I helped our area move to the Agile project methodology. For the past three years, I’ve ensured my team had the proper training for Agile, showed them the value and helped them adopt Agile principles. The result was that multiple projects were delivered early and under budget, despite over delivering. In these roles, I developed a reputation for being one of the people with the ability to find answers and solve problems, even if it were not an area I was working with. This was due to my willingness to assist my business partners and help them be successful.
