In this role, I've been responsible for leading my team of 3 direct and 13 indirect members, in scheduling all the production for the plant, purchasing raw materials, shipping, receiving, maintaining BOM's, customer service and inventory control. I lead the plant in monthly cycle counts, quarterly RMR's and annual wall to wall physical inventory. While in this position, I also lead my team in areas of Safety, 5S, Six Sigma and other lean initiatives. Meet daily with department heads to discuss prior day activities and future activities. It's been my experience that collaborating with other functional team members yields the best results for the business. Experience as Production Control Supervisor I was in this position for ~4 years. We used an ERP system with MRP and DMR to plan production, maintain BOM's and maintain accurate inventory levels thru monthly cycle counts, quarterly RMR's and annual wall to wall physical inventories. Worked closely with the production department supervisors to produce the most efficient schedules to meet target production numbers. Partnered with our suppliers to develop the best practices to meet our material needs while enabling them to also be the most efficient as they can to meet their own production targets.
