Internal Audit Supervisor - Reported to the Corporate Management of PDVSA Industrial Finances - October 2013 to April 2015 PDVSA Industrial - Petróleos de Venezuela - Implement internal fiscal control programs defined by the Group Top Executives in order to strengthen the efficiency of budgetary processes and prevent waste contributing to the continuous and sustainable development of corporate activities. * Ensure that managers are aware of the fundamental principles of budgetary control in their areas by carrying out awareness and training activities. * Help managers to formalize local procedures in line with legislation and the Group's standards and integrating good internal control practices. * Regularly assess compliance of the entity's processes with the Group's principles (standards charters policies etc.). * Coordinate projects intended to improve internal controls (e.g.: GATE TOP 5 segregation of duties the prevention of fraud and corruption the security of payment methods specific fiscal projects etc.). * Perform analysis and substantive reviews of the material aspects of financial statements on companies and organizations Plan and design audit parameters based on International Auditing Standards (IAS) to review the reasonableness of the figures and assertions made by management in compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS) * Coordinate together with the CFO the annual review of the external auditors and internal audit mission process. * Check the handling of weaknesses and non-compliance by managers and monitor the implementation of corresponding action plans. * Share initiatives and good practices with the Group's Internal Control Department.
