Summary: * Experience working in R&D as an Engineering Technician. Working on the Bill of Materials (BOM) assisting a Component Electrical Engineer and Design Engineers on an Oracle, to SAP migration Project. Use internal and qualified external vendors to assist engineering teams to obtain supplies and services. * Checking documents electrical and mechanical component specs. Entering and cleaning up data on Excel spreadsheets. * Develop and build fixtures for building and testing components and assembled products. Develop test methods and create written test method documents. * Test prototypes and perform Failure Analysis testing per engineering instructions and document test results. Use computers to operate various equipment scan documents and save data. * Document control experience as part of an engineering procurement team, process improvement team member, and assisting engineers in support of product production and documentation. * Create fixtures for testing components and assembled products * Experience reading electrical schematics building of prototypes/products per engineering design and instructions and with advanced test equipment high speed oscilloscopes, digital wave form generators, signal generators, audio generators, frequency counters, power meters, multimeters, and computerized test systems. * able to load software, configure, calibrate, test, verify, record, diagnose faulty components and sub-assemblies, troubleshoot and repair to board and component level, and replace electronic components through hole and surface mount ROHS compliant. Build and solder cables and test assemblies. * Excellent soldering and microscope soldering skills through hole and surface mount. I have experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma methodologies, LEAN methodologies, statistical methods and SPC Charting. Computer * Experienced in Microsoft Windows 2000/XP/07 Microsoft Office Word, Excel, 2003/ 07 Access, Outlook, and Power Point CAD/Solid Works experience, and Lab View software experience. * Also have Computer Information Systems Training, Microsoft Computer A+ and Network+ certifications. Experienced with scientific procedures and laboratory techniques. * Excellent Verbal and English skills * Able to work under limited supervision and follow general direction. * Able to build and test mechanical models, electrical circuits and assemblies. * Performed tests requiring considerable judgment in determining work methods, interpreting test results and writing clear and accurate test reports. * Adept with FDA procedures, IPC A610 Certification, and ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
