Description
I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2010 with a Petroleum Engineering degree, and have since worked at Halliburton as a field engineer, Sigma Cubed as a stimulation field consultant, and as an independent field consultant at Kingsfield Consulting. Iâ??m a very motivated individual, and at only 29 years old, Iâ??ve reached the peak of the field engineering career path. I immerse myself in my work, and that has proven to let me advance far faster than any of my peers. I finished my engineering training at Halliburton with the top score out of over 100 new hires, I finished my training at Apex before any of the other new hires, and I only had a week of training at Kingsfield. While I was working with Halliburton, I became a lead engineer after only a year of experience. I trained three other engineers who became lead engineers before they had officially finished training because their decision-making skills and customer service skills, which I had instilled in them, were so far superior to the other, much more experienced engineers. After only two years of field engineering work, I was given the opportunity to work for a consulting firm, where I would finally be given responsible for the entire stimulation. Every day during my field consulting work, I was left in charge of multi-million dollar decisions. I have historically made the right decision more often than not. During my time with Sigma Cubed, I was the only individual to create a pump schedule that worked. I was then sent to the other, more experienced, consultants to train them. I had only been a consultant for a month when I made these design changes. I was offered a job to be an independent consultant after less than 6 months, which would allow me to do the same thing but with more time off and triple the money. I couldnâ??t pass up the opportunity for this kind of career advancement. During my time with Kingsfield Consulting, I worked 24 hours a day for the entire wellâ??s stimulation (approximately a week at a time). I took naps when given the chance, but I was still responsible for multi-million dollar decisions. I had no complaints from the engineers in the office and several of my clients requested that I be the only consultant that worked with them. I minimized cost and time while still maintaining a quality fracture stimulation. Several of these cases reduced cost by almost 10% on $10 million treatments. This was not required, but was instead simply a case of my attention to detail and quality. Other consultants simply made sure that there were no problems, but I insisted that every job went better than the last. In addition to my work at these various positions, I have done phone consultations with various investment firms at $250/hour. Theyâ??ve continued to request my services even on subjects that I have minimal experience with due to my ability to connect my experience to my theoretical knowledge and give quality advice to their clients. I have never had a complaint, even when the subject in question was outside of my typical expertise. I am a highly qualified and motivated individual who will excel where ever I work. I am willing to relocate anywhere in the US and most parts of Europe and Canada. Thank you, Joshua Whitney 432-661-3516 Joshua.Whitney@jjfracconsulting.com
