Professional Profile: 8 years’ as Director for Quality at Red River Army Depot directing a combined 150 quality assurance and quality control/inspection personnel. 17 years as ISO 9000 Quality Manger. I designed, developed, documented implemented, audited, managed, improved and registered the depot to an ISO Quality Management System (QMS) for an organization a manufacturing organization of 4000 personnel and 20 major product lines. This involved: • Developing, implementing and leading an internal, process and supply chain audit program documenting findings, a formal root cause and corrective action process and clear key process indicators and metrics for supplier and product oversight for continual process improvements. This accomplished a reduction in the cost of poor quality by 90%, improved products and processes and a dramatic increase in customer satisfaction; • Auditing of all product lines and processes for product compliance to customer requirements; • Development of a rigorous nonconforming product process; • Integration of depot Lean/Six Sigma programs with directorate policies and procedures; • Developing customer satisfaction program with a clear communication and understanding of customer product expectations and step by step product planning from concept through execution; • Establishing communication lines with all depot organizations and customers establishing clear objectives, metrics and quality goals that insured compliance with customer contractual requirements, • Implemented a customer satisfaction program that provided quick responses for corrective actions that consistently improved processes, products and customer satisfaction.
