My objective is to enter a position that utilizes my current experience, as well as providing opportunities to gain experience in a related field. I aspire to work in a position that relates to quality assurance, operations management, mechanical engineering, project management, root cause analysis, statistical investigation, project engineering, product development, strategic product development, or a similar field. A significant portion of my experience has been “hands-on” engineering, and I greatly enjoy working in the shop. Custom fabrication has been a consistent skill needed in the positions I have held. I am comfortable and experienced operating mills, lathes, welding (oxy-gas, MIG, arc), working with sheet metal, very experienced carpenter, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and familiar with most power tools and hand tools found in a normal shop environment.
