Managed state local taxes. Responsible for identifying operational processes pertaining to state taxes making sure payments were applied accurately. Supported the accounting department during monthly closings, and identified operational processes inefficiencies and recommended necessary improvements. Facilitated month-end close processes invoicing journal entries and account reconciliations. Responsible for notifying Market Administrative Assistant of franchise to franchise changeovers, corporate to franchise changeovers and new franchise. Responsible for store openings and communicating processes with payroll franchise department and real- estate department.
