PROFILE Over eighteen years' experience examining, auditing, regulating, and making recommendations to credit unions. Core Skills: * Understand and utilizing credit union examination work methods, complex technical functions, and procedures based on the seven risk areas. * Analyzing data and trends prior to examination to identify areas of examination concentration and continuation of previous problems. * Planning, coordinating, and completing examinations. * Knowledge of the financial principals and operating practices of credit unions. * Auditing financial records, loan files, budgets, business plans, asset liability management, risk price lending programs, and various other reports. * Verifying credit union's practices and procedures in accordance to State and Federal laws and regulations, internal polices, and Federal directives. * Recognizing existing and potential problems regarding operations. * Recommending corrective action for supervisory attention and/or action. * Obtaining and protecting confidential credit union data.
