Over 30 years progressive experience in the combustion, heat transfer, thermal processing, air pollution control, and steam generating industries serving worldwide markets. Recognized as a hands-on manager who combines technical know-how, a bottom-line orientation, and diversified marketing experience to develop elegantly engineered solutions. Extensive experience in the North American, Middle Eastern, Chinese, and Asian markets. Core competencies include: Business Development: As SVP of Global Sales and Marketing at Verantis, grew revenues from $18M in 2010 to a peak of $37M in 2012 primarily through development of Middle Eastern and Asian markets. As EVP of Sales and Marketing at Crown Andersen, and continuing as President of Andersen 2000, developed the European, Middle Eastern, and Asian markets; grew revenues from $4M to $24M in a six-year period. General Management: As President of Andersen 2000, managed a $30M P&L for an engineering services and manufacturing business that provided custom engineered thermal processing and air pollution control systems to industrial and commercial end users on a worldwide basis. At Cleaver-Brooks, held full P&L responsibility for a $35M multi-plant manufacturing business; EBITA ranged from 10-15%. Project Management: Project management and sponsorship experience includes: strategic planning, company turnarounds, new product development, marketing, capital equipment, and construction. Oversaw multiyear engineering and construction projects in China and the Middle East valued at up to $25M. Also experienced and responsible for driving company merger, acquisition, and divestiture strategies and activities.
