Working with clients for developing project design criteria. contacting utility companies for research of underground utilities, prepares horizontal control plans, roadway alignments and detailed cost estimates for street, sanitary sewer, storm drain and municipal water projects. Preparing rough and precise grading plans for housing and commercial and development projects. Perform excavation and fill quantity takeoffs for grading projects. As well as field inspection and collects data on existing properties. Supervises and assists junior engineers in designing civil projects and preparing drawings per client specifications.
