There are so many reasons why I feel this way, but the number one reason is, that I can so very much be a part of my patient’s lives directly; involving myself in their daily health care decisions, and being actively involved in my patient’s therapeutic outcomes. I also use my knowledge base and my outgoing personality, and love for my profession, to gain their trust as one of their personal health care team providers. There is an extreme amount of personal reward and satisfaction knowing that my customers/patients are well cared for, and I am so honored and privileged to be in their total healthcare picture. Serving all ages and all types of people in the communities that I have been involved with over the years, makes it both interesting, challenging, and highly gratifying. Working in a profession that allows me this kind of involvement in the community, made it all so worthwhile, and so meaningful to me. There never is a day that goes by in my professional life, where I regret ever choosing pharmacy as my career, and lifelong passion. I will always feel this way about what I do. It will always be this way as I look forward to my next employment opportunity.
