Please find my attached resume for your consideration for the position of Quality Assurance Manager. I have nearly 20 years of experience as a Quality Manager in the automotive supplier field. I have additional years of design, engineering, CAD as well as purchasing. I do enjoy being a hands on person and feel I have the ability to work well with production personnel as well as peer managers. I had spent 3 years as the Division Sourcing Manager during my time at Federal-Mogul Corporation. There, I was responsible for the purchase of tooling and components used in production and manufacturing outside our vertical integration. Prior to promotion to Sourcing Manager, I designed many die castings for automotive fuel pumps and was directly responsible to oversee them into production. I have been the Management Representative for my employer's QS9000, ISO9001:2008 and TS16949. The primary concentration of any ISO certification is on effectiveness of the QMS. I have just completed the TS16949 certification approval process for my company. I have brought 5S, Lean Manufacturing and VA/VE tools into my current company. I feel I can be an asset to your company by bringing my experience, varied interests and eagerness to have a positive effect.
