Creating paths to economic security for vulnerable individuals particularly women through education and job training to combat community problems such as violence, trafficking and terrorism. Mission: A) The establishment of a training center, Center for American and Global Advancement, where training in varying STEM, finance and executive management areas will be provided in conjunction with prospective positions at partner companies and government agencies. B) Through collaborative industrial, academic and government partnerships, the establishment of contemporary-world class laboratories in public schools to supplement the curriculum through the introduction of hands on learning experience of STEM subjects. NIH, pre-Doctoral Intramural Trainee Award - Research Engineer Bethesda, MD (2013-2015) * Set up transatlantic research collaboration for the purpose of investigating the use of biodegradable nanoparticles with my vision of promoting the advancement of Nanomedicine within the US Government's Department of Health and Human Service (represented in NIH). This was through a merger of expertise from academia (University College London- Nano-pharmaceutics), industry and the Government labs at NIH * Formulated biodegradable compacted DNA-nanoparticles for the delivery of the RS1 gene to the photoreceptor and bipolar cells of RS1 knockout mice retina in order to alleviate the effect of the mutated retinoschisis gene with the aim of restoring visual function.
