Description
Dear Hiring Manager or to whom it may concern: Let me introduce myself. My name is Tracy and I am a nurse practitioner with 18 years of experience. I am board certified by ANCC as a family nurse practitioner and in pain management. I am also board certified as an addictionologist. I have extensive experience in chronic pain management and managing patients with chronic illness. I have worked in Primary Care and in Diabetes. I am a people person, organized, respect others, a team player, autonomous but know when to consult, always on time, a hard worker and love a challenge. I have high respect for the medical staff and the physicians I work for and understand my role as a nurse practitioner and midlevel provider. I have an active UT APRN license and DEA license. I was an assistant professor at the University of Utah in the NP program for 9 years, taught many courses off and on computers and one of my main courses was advanced physical assessment, Diagnostic reasoning and Pharmacology. While teaching I took patients throughout the community to do physical exams in many settings. I am familiar with computers and EMRs including altipoint and nexgen and understand the importance of impeccable charting. My patient respect, like and bond well with me and in my last position. I was seeing 20 to 2 patients a day and had all charting completed and task completed by day's end. Thank you for your time and consideration. I am sure I will be an excellent addition to your team. Please feel free to contact me at mfouts17@gmail.com. I am available immediately and look forward to meeting and speaking with you. I hope to hear from you soon.
