I have more than 25 years of professional experience in Heathcare education and administration. I have been an assistant professor at the American University of Beirut for the last 24 years (October 1987-January 2012). I taught several courses in healthcare, nursing care, healthcare leadership, and healthcare informatics in both undergraduate and graduate programs. I also occupied the position of Head of Education Department at the Culture and Media Centre in Abu Dhabi, where I designed, organized, and conducted CE courses, seminars, and workshops in healthcare besides international conferences. I also occupied the position of General Manager at the Lotus Health care Center in Abu Dhabi. Currently I work as senior consultant for healthcare, informatics education, and system implementation at Malomatia Company in Qatar. I am pretty sure you are aware of the flexibility, focus and diplomacy such positions require. I want to bring the knowledge and insight gained through these various experiences to your work place. I have much to offer in the way of diversity of experience and profession in that I have worked in three major industries in the Middle East and the Gulf Region: academia (university education), administration and consultancy in healthcare, and information system implementation and optimization. Within these industries, I have had the opportunity to learn policies, procedures, and protocols required to enforce them ethically and without liability. From my work in education I have sharpened my teaching skills, and student advising on their curricular education. Also I have gained experience in research, writing reports, designing online courses and high impact PowerPoint Presentations, and much more. Combine all this experience with my natural talents (writing, analytical problem solving, logistical planning, and research) and with my work ethic you have a well-rounded candidate you will be proud to have on your staff.
