Here I mention some achievements: • We developed a working model that allowed us to reduce inventory levels 65 to 45 days, equivalent to $ 4 million without affecting customer service. • We achieve an increase in the volume of production to sustain sales growth of 15% annually, through shared communication and service demand among the areas of purchasing, planning, sales and improving the reliability of production lines. • We increased by 25% the volume of product in a spray drying process, overcoming obstacles and limited time budget; just changing the way we operate the process and the attitude of the staff. Thus we increase the production of 28 ton / day 35 ton / day. • We install measuring equipment for accurate dosage of omega 3 oils, achieving a saving of $ 2 USD million a year. • We decrease the factory complexity by developing a common base formula for all products. This led us to have available manufacturing capacity, equivalent to 40 monthly hours, and further savings in water and cleaning chemicals and annual savings of $ 600 000 USD. • We improve performance by 85% in efficiency of a packing line (Polypack) due the implementation of the Autonomous Maintenance; this line had not worked beyond 20% efficiency since its installation two years ago. This allowed us to increase the production level of 20 000 to 28 000 daily cases boxes. Summary career.
