SUMMARY OF ACTIVITY in M/S BIMETAL BEARINGS LTD. : * Manage 4 engineers & 5 toolmakers and skilled machine operators on all the finishing Machines like tool & cutter machine, bore grinding surface grinding wire cutting * Design of part tooling based on customer drawing Vendor development & Sub contracting of all the part tools * Machine building namely buffing machine using 7 cylinders and connecting to the transfer line . * Automation Connecting of machines to transfer lines Poke yoke to detect missing operation of the bearings online detection using sensors relays pneumatic Cylinders manifolds. * Calculation of TACK TIME cycle time analysis using video analysis determination of the BOTTLE NECK operation * Reducing the cycle time on the bottle neck to bring it below tact time .Like reducing the cycle time of the handling operation, using modern manufacturing systems / devices . Bending Tools - Blank development for multiple bend component Deep Draw Tools - Blank development calculation of noof stages required for the draw operation calculation of the tonnage required setting of the dies for trials Progressive press tools - Lay out to complete design Progressive draw tools. - Lay out to complete design * Also have knowledge in the design & manufacture of Plastic moulds pressure die casting wax injection moulds rubber moulds Blow moulds Bakelite moulds drill jigs milling fixtures welding fixtures, Inspection gauges, etc. Repair maintenance & modification of all the above dies / tools. * Through knowledge in the various types of machining operations. Like on the Center lathe CNC Lathe, Milling CNC Milling (VMC) Surface grinding Profile grinding on surface grinding using dressed wheels, Wire cutting Shaping machine Spark Erosion machine (Design of electrodes) Cylindrical grinding OD & ID, tool & cutter grinding, shearing machine laser cutting engraving slotting Planning edm drilling sand blasting etc.etc. * Process planning of complicated hi-precision machining jobs. Understand and deploy complex engineering drawings for manufacturing and set right controls on critical dimensions, tolerance and fits. * Complete design of all the above mentioned tools with bill of materials . Design of all the above tools using AUTOCAD ( Expert) also have proficiency in MS Office MS Office Excel MS office power point Paint Internet usage etc. * Managing providing techniques in manufacturing and supervising lead toolmakers. Managing shift production supervisors, process technicians, manufacturing Technicians, Machinists for all the above mentioned machines, managing Engineers. Have managed a tool room with CAD Designers and 3D modelers of 16 members * Experience with raw materials ( Through knowledge of the various type of raw material required for tool manufacture and through knowledge of their heat treatment process ), production processes, quality control, cost estimation of all the various tools/dies mentioned above. * Very well experienced in the production of sheet metal components using both ferrous & non ferrous raw Material, deep draw of stainless aluminum brass components knowledge of the various type of Lubrication used in deep draw, Coatings to be used to enhance die life. Experience in setup of dies on power presses and hydraulic presses advice to tool makers while conducting trials troubleshooting during tool trials, qualification of parts FAI (First Article Inspection) until successful completion of tool trials. * Calculate the cost of any type of sheet metal component machined component castings plastic die cast parts etc. * Experience in scheduling & coordinating all shop functions, Job task planning and organizing.Strong ability in problem solving. Launching a press shop with production programs on time with 0% customers complaint * Tooling quotation and review with vendors. Ability to select vendors for a particular process, negotiation with vendors vendors capability and capacity assessment. * Selection of candidates for employment Technical advice to NC programmers solid model creation using master cam pro E core cavity extraction and technical advice to tool makers in the manufacturing process of the tool elements and in the assembly and matching of critical tool elements.
