I have 20 years experience in the acute care setting. I began my career as a paramedic working in four different EMS systems for 7 years. I have been ACLS certified since 1993. I was an in-home caregiver to advanced Alzheimer and stroke patients for two years while in nursing school. I have 10 years experience as a charge RN for a busy surgical unit, progressive care unit and small ICU. I have been in an ICU for the last 5 and one half years. In addition to that, I have been an active member in 3 different hospital committees, expertise in IV therapy, clinical educator, promoter of advanced certification and believe in a positive work environment through team building techniques. I would love a position as a nursing supervisor so that I can share my leadership skills with all hospital departments.
