=ELECTRICAL ENGINEER MY RESPONSIBILITY IN THE COMPANY • Actively take part in electrical maintenance of HV, LV switch gears, Power generators, Switch yard control systems, plant monitoring and control PLC systems, Plant DC system, Battery banks and rectifiers, auxiliary equipment’s such as Lube oil and fuel oil Separators maintenance and programming of its controller, Oil fired boilers, Air compressors, Booster pumps, heater units and ensure timely completed work of high standard in the repair, inspection, testing, adjustment, installation and removal of all plant equipment and system. • Perform electrical scope of PMS in the engine, auxiliaries, MV, LV switchgear servicing. Testing of MV and LV Switchgear, Generator protection relays. • Inspection, calibration and repair of instruments such as, AVR, Governor Controller, CTs and PTs, temperature switches, pressure switches and transducers, Oil mist detectors, Water transducers, PT 100, speed sensors, limit switches, proximity switches, Motor control circuits, Photocells for lighting controls etc. • Perform periodic Inspection and testing of, Standby Generator and Fire Fighting unit. Record periodic vibration measurements of all engines & auxiliary equipment’s. • Work with the maintenance team to ensure that plant facilities and equipment are maintained clean, safe and are efficient at all times. • Ensure timely completion of work in order to achieve contractual commitments especially on the availability & reliability. • Monitor daily electrical maintenance activities at the plant, maintain records & report to the maintenance supervisor about the latest status. • Responsible for identifying & proposing the tools required for electrical maintenance works. • Responsible for maintaining the records of all the activities. • Planned & unplanned maintenance of engines and auxiliaries. • Earthings testing of plant and switchyard substation. • Relays testing etc
