Summary Over 25 years of experience in Electrical Power, Instrumentation, and Control System Engineering for chemical, herbicide, plastics, food process and water plants. He has been responsible for the design, specification and analysis of Power Systems, Logic Diagrams, Process /electrical sequence of operations, Process & Instrument Diagrams, Project Electrical/Instrument & Process Control. And the projects component specifications. He has extensive experience with overall plant safety, grounding, alarm & communications, DCS, PLC controlled systems and Plant SCADA. His experience includes 69KV Substations, 13.8/ 0.48 KV Plant power system distribution, Plant power generation He is a seasoned El. Engineer familiar with the analysis and studies of Power System Short Circuit, El. Power Flow, El. Protection Coordination, El. System Arc Flash and in the application of micro processor based Electrical Protections. AND he has become familiar the Electrical Distribution Management Software (DMS). Assigned2 plants for over 7 years as Project System Engineer for DuPont Plants in Parkersburg WV & Circleville Ohio - Some upgrades includes 69/13.8-kV main substations MV/LV distribution with two new 2.5 MVA SS and 480-V Secondary switchgears to feed new & existing MCCs. These projects included updating the plants short circuit calculations the protection coordination and the power flow study using the ETAP software. The project activities included also equipment specifications installation supervision component tests the plant shutdown demolition coordination to switch to the new sources. And the overall plant instrumentation and DCS control system updates were part of these assignments.
