I am a longtime enthusiast of both Photography and Computer Programming. For the past two years, 2013 & 2014, I have been the president of the James River Camera Club. This club focuses on sharing best practices and provides monthly classes to enhance a photographer's skills. "Developing an effective storage and backup strategy" and "Landscape Composition" are among the classes I have taught. The computer skills I have developed over the years have routinely been applied to my work. One application, developed during OIF 2003, has been converted to a program of record and is in use throughout the Marine Corps to this date. That application is the Transportation Capacity Planning Tool (TCPT).
